The Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network has just endorsed the HCV Manifesto which outlines the rights of HCV+ people. Based on a similar document for people with HIV/AIDS, it uses the principles of GIPA/MIPA (promoting greater involvement and participation of infected people in the organizations, policies, and decisions which affect them). The Canadian Treatment Action Council (CTAC) and the Canadian AIDS Treatment and Information Exchange (CATIE) have joined three other institutional signers of the HCV MANIFESTO!
