Side Effects

Home / Treatment / Side Effects

The drugs to treat hepatitis C have side effects ranging from minimal to serious, depending on which drugs you are taking.  The newer drug combinations (Direct Acting Antivirals – DAAs) have fewer side effects, but if you are taking interferon and/or ribavirin as well, then you need to read this fact sheet from the HCV Advocate.
